  • Baptism and a bake sale

    A full day is planned this coming Sunday, Feb. 22, as a baptism will be held during the 10 a.m. worship service at Our Saviour’s.   • Lenten services and suppers

    Our Saviour’s will begin offering midweek Lenten services each Wednesday in Lent starting on Feb. 25. The evening will begin with a supper of soup and bread at 6 p.m., followed by a worship service at 7 p.m. All are welcome!

  • Ash Wednesday

    Our Saviour’s is marking the season of Lent starting on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 18. From 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 18, OSELC Pastor Katrina Walther will join two other pastors in offering Ashes on the Go outside Sunnyside United Methodist Church on the corner of Edison Avenue and Ninth Street.   • Taizé Worship Service

    Twice in the next six weeks Our Saviour’s Evangelical Lutheran Church will partner with three other Sunnyside churches for Sunday evening Taizé worship services.   • Object lesson

    In keeping with this past Sunday’s theme of baptism, Pastor Katrina had a special presentation for youngsters during the children’s sermon with a hands on lesson about baptism.

  • Red wine & Chocolate

    A fundraiser to assist OSELC’s work in the community will be held Sunday, Jan 25. Featured will be a red wine and chocolate event with proceeds designated for the church’s ministry. Red wine and chocolate will take place after the second part of our congregational business meeting immediately following the morning worship service.

  • WELCA Meeting

    The women of Our Saviour’s will hold their first WELCA meeting of the year at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13. The evening of fellowship will include a showing of the movie “By God’s Grace.”
