We had this remnant from a different time standing in the yard just behind the church. It was a standing water pipe that was never really used. There it is, just there between Bob and John.

We started to get a slow rise in the water bill and this was the suspect. The church gentlemen, plus some very helpful young men from Grandview High, set about digging it up to see what they could see.

About three feet down, the leak was found. Michael on the right spent entirely too much time lying on the ground, fishing the last few buckets full out of the hole. The problem was discovered, the pipe was eliminated, and we hope this will mark a reduction in our unfortunate water bill increase.

The culprit was found, the leak is closed!

On the same day, we had our pantry day and we tried to help feed some of our neighbors. Debbie Mendoza, Dawn Martin and Pastor are the regular crew.
